Our Story
KG Retreats was created by Simon and Gemma, fueled by over twelve years of experience hosting guests across boutique holiday lets and short-term stays.
What began with a single, much-loved coastal house in North Norfolk has gradually grown. Our journey took us further afield to a sun-drenched holiday home in Lagos, Portugal, before finally putting down roots in the Rutland Valley. Relocating to Rutland sparked a shift in our focus: we wanted to create more than just beautiful places to stay; we wanted to shape experiences.
Today, every KG Retreat property is designed to feel calm, deeply considered, and seamlessly connected to the landscape outside its windows.

Our approach is wonderfully simple: we create spaces that give you permission to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and live without urgency.
